WE REFUSE TO INVITE ANYONE WHO IS POPULAR WITH PEOPLE

Stop making sense:  Blue State New Jersey Republicant Governor Chris Christie enjoys a 76% approval rating from his constituents.  His numbers are pretty high with people outside of New Jersey, too.
This makes Christie a prime candidate to NOT be invited to C-PAC, the Republicant/ Tea bagger herd gathering in Washington later this month.  Instead, losers like Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Paul Ryan and … WILLARD THE ROMNEY … were invited.
Christie's sin?  Being nice to Obama after NJ was ruined by a hurricane.  Can't be doin' that Christie if'n ya wanna be invited to the herd gatherings. tsk tsk

This is a variation on Groucho's old joke – I refuse to belong to any club that would have someone like me as a member.
C-PAC's version – We refuse to invite any Republicant politician who is popular with people who would never come to our stupid little convention.

Too big to break up:  Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown and Republicant Sen. from La., David Vitter are working on legislation aimed at BIG BANKS.  How big are BIG BANKS? Eighteen years ago the six biggest banks held combined assets equal to 16% of GDP.  Today that number is 65%.  Why has the government allowed six financial institutions to gather that much moss?  Maybe because the bankers give so much green to BOTH PARTIES.

I hate me, I hate me:  Florida, always a big deal in the presidential Electoral College hunt, has more bad news for Republicants.  Recent polls show that 58% of Floridians have a negative view of Republicants.  Even 35% of Republicants have a negatory view of their own selves.

In other gun news:  Police at Perry middle school on rumor of two students bringing guns to class;
A special election in Illinois spells bad news for the NRA.  Robin Kelly, who supports a ban on high capacity magazines and other sensible gun control measures, easily beat (52%) Debbie Halvorson.  Halvorson opposed gun safety regs and was, in the past, supported by the NRA. The loss must have driven Wayne 'Call me Crazy' LaPierre crazier.  If that's even possible.
