A Harvard study of 26 countries found that the more
guns a country has the more homicides that country has. This of course refutes the idea that owning a
gun makes you safer. In fact it puts you
more at risk.
IF I'VE TOLD YOU ONCE I'VE TOLD YOU A MILLION TIMES
--- DON'T CONFUSE ME WITH FACTS. I LUV
MY GUN. IT'S MY SECURITY BLANKET. HAPPINESS IS A WARM GUN, BANG BANG SHOOT
SHOOT. IT MAKES ME FEEEEEL SAFER.
And that's the point, isn't it? Those who are afraid Obama is coming for
their guns are a-scart peoples. Their
gun doesn't make them safer but it makes them FEEL safer. It's all about feelings.
In Sharpstown, southwest of Houston, a graduate
student has a plan to give away 20 gauge shotguns to fight crime. That sounds like a plan, maybe it would work
here. Why not? But why be limited to 20 gauge
shotguns, how about Uzi's, something that'll really stop those bad guys in
their tracks. Everyone in favor of
giving Uzi's away in their neighborhood, please raise your hands.

Republicants in Congress are opposing sensible gun
legislation, legislation that would protect average citizens. But guess what kinda protection THEY enjoy? NO GUNS are permitted inside the
Capital. Why not? If guns aren't a problem out here how come
they're considered a problem in there?
What are the Republicants afraid of?
Guns don't kill politicians, people kill politicians.
Call your representative TODAY (202-225-3121) and
demand that you be allowed to bring your concealed weapon into the Capital. It's your Second Amendment right. And into the Supreme Court, too.

UPDATE: DOW hits record high. The idiots at Faux business news (chuckle, chuckle) made a big deal out of the DOW dropping 138 points when Obama was re-elected. They've sure shut their mouths now that we entered record territory. Faux News -- We distort, you make money in the market if you ignore us.
UPDATE DIRECTLY FROM FAUX NEWS (another boo-boo...oops)
"Due to a reporting error, a March 1 FoxNews.com story on the timing and impact of the sequestration cuts used information from an internal research document that contained material previously published by other news organizations. The story did not properly credit the sources of that material, and has subsequently been removed from FoxNews.com.
The uncredited use of the material was unintentional, and FoxNews.com regrets the error."
