It's all so ironic. Republicants are furious with other Republicants.
Representative Peter King and Governor of New
Jersey, Chris Christie, are two angry politicians. And they're both Republicants. And they're both angry at other Republicants.
Why all the anger? Of Republicants for other Republicants?
Because Christe and King represent people who
have had their lives destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. But the Republicants in Congress refused to
vote on a bill that would have helped those people who had their lives
destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.
In fact, House Speaker John Boehner – the
most disliked, miserable man in Washington – refused to even bring the relief
bill to a vote.
Why would Boehner refuse a vote for a bill
that would help people who have had their lives destroyed by Hurricane Sandy?
Because it costs money to help people who had
their lives destroyed by natural disasters like hurricanes. And some flat earth members of Boehner's
Republicant Caucus (known as chuckleheads by outgoing local pol. Steve LaTourette)
are dead set against spending money.
On anything.
For any reason.
Those caucus members are Tea Partiers. Tea Partiers are fiscal conservatives. They don't like spendin' money on
nuthin'. For any reason. Even for fellow Americans who have had their
lives destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.
Which is ironic because the people who have
had their lives destroyed by Hurricane Sandy live in New York and New Jersey,
two states that send more money in the form of taxes to the federal government
than they receive back in benefits. The
Tea Party reps, on the other hand, come from districts that GET THE BENEFITS OF
THE TAXES PAID BY THE RESIDENTS OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY WHO NOW NEED HELP.
Where do those Tea Partiers think the money
their districts receive comes from? The
Money Tree?
It's also ironic that King and Christie,
being Republicants, are members of a party that since 1993 has been opposed to
any tax increases. Ironic because TAXES
WILL PAY FOR THE DISASTER RELIEF CHRISTIE AND KING ARE SO UPSET ABOUT.
Where did King and Christie think the money
was coming from? The tooth fairy?
It's such a pleasure to watch Republicant
politicians learn about irony. I hope they're
enjoying it as much as I am.
